For sale: LVT-4 - SOLD

Postby Blitzdough » Fri Mar 20, 2009 9:40 pm

A friend has one of the LVT-4s used in "Flags of our Fathers" and has asked me to help him sell it.

I will post pictures, and give more details as soon as I get them from him. I talked to him last night and he told me that it has been stored in a dry place, looks good, and runs well. Its located near Modesto California.

$45,000.

Please check back for when I can get the photos & get them loaded. Interested parties can either PM me or reach me at....

Thanks! :D

Chuck,

Tell the owner or the new buyer he is welcome to bring it to the Camp Delta Meet in mid-April, via freeway or water. Maybe the marina will let him use the boat ramp!

If he hasn't sold it by then, this is the largest annual MV event in the West so would be a good place to show it. See http://www.mvccnews.net/event_pages/tow ... spring.htm

Is the one for sale one of these two on this site? Do you know the owner, I've been trying to contact him about parts. Thanks!

Hi Kevin,

I'm pretty confident they are the same. I don't believe he has any extra parts to sell though.

I called the owner to varify and these are the same LVTs. The camo one has been sold, the green one is the one I'm selling for him. He doesn't have any spare parts.

He said the green one runs great, swims, and the interior is very clean. It comes with a dummy .50. He is sending me the photos and I'll get them posted here as soon as I can.

He also said that he is open to "interesting" trades.
