jonnyrayBAMBO,
It was a great weekend, but I don't think I'll ever recover from some of the images left in my mind from the campfire charades.....

Any idea of dates for next year, do you need any help? I am in Hervey Bay so not far away if you require some able hands.

Hi Paul,

Dates are 10-13 June 2011 (i.e., Friday to Monday). I'll let you know if we need help closer to the date.

Anyway, we got the boom working on the DUKW last weekend. So the DUKW boom demo can now be added to the program….

Fellows,
How can I put across in a few words what a great weekend "The Walkers" put on for all to enjoy. The hours of planning and preparation put in were indeed appreciated by all. Regrettably the first day was dampened by good drenching of Liquid Sunshine however there were many brave souls who soldiered on regardless and enjoyed the planned activities. Good on Sam for continuing on with his Jeep flying fox demonstration in less than desirable conditions. The weather improved :D :D on the second day which brightened everyone's spirits. A crammed day of activities included a forest run, jeep trailer boat races, Jeep Vs Champ going backwards race with Amphib runs in the river at dusk. The Walkers never missing an opportunity to explore more adventures with Amphibious vehicles, even had an LVT, DUKW and GPA race. I can say that if an opportunity to ride in an LVT (in the water) should present itself, do so, It is an awesome machine. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Walker clan for making my family and I welcome and a big BZ (Navy) for a job well done.
Cheers
John Wilson
PS I will be back in 2013
