DOD 12th Jan 42....almost there
My late 41 built Slat is almost ready for the road after at least 25 years, mainly disassembled and missing parts and stashed in various garages. It is 99.9% finished, less some tiny details which i am working on. I have finally managed to find the very early machine-screw thread fixing canvas top fixings for the top of the windshield frame and they are on the way from the States. I have one early windshield wiper arm assembly......would anybody have another they would sell me?
It is currently running a Feb 44 Willys war engine, but i have all the parts for a correct late 41 motor, which is currently being carefully built and will go in, sometime in the future.
Thanks to all G503 forum members who have helped with their experience and advice...very much appreciated.
Very best wishes
Alan

Very nice. My '42 Slat MB was delivered the day after yours. Your Slat MB is inspiring!
Can you share your SN? Mine is MB 111414.

Thanks to all the forum members who took the time to look at my Slat and for the kind words, it was very much appreciated.
The VIN of my Slat is #111241 and i am lucky enough for it to still retain it's original Data Plates and VIN Tag.
Thanks again.
