I have what appears to be an early pre-war WO Carter carburetor. Can anyone help ID what year this came off of and what correct Jeep it should be on? Thanks!
It has the "229" stamped in the bottom and only seven patent numbers. Here are some pics..

229 - Carter WO model 507S/SA (pre-war) - I found this info online. Is this accurate- if so, is it VEP?
According to info on Jeepdraw it is most likely an early 539S, but I did not see any info referring to 507S. It has the early two-arm vs. 3-arm throttle lever Assy.
