Slat wiring question

Post by rustfarm » Mon Feb 20, 2017 3:51 pm

Does any of the wiring harness have to be taped to hold multiple wires together? I noticed a restored jeep that looks to have electrical or friction tape wrapped around the wires that are located on the drivers side fender.

If tape is needed, what type and where is it needed?
Tks-

Many of the runs have multiple wires wrapped with tape that is specific to wrapping. They are usually tied at the end of the wraps. Same dimensions as black elec. tape but it has no adhesive. There is also what is called wire loom on some pieces that pass through areas such as firewall and where there is exposure to the elements.
