Hi all
I have a correct engine head but it has W Bolts instead of the expected TR Bolts
Any evidence of W bolts on early Slat Grills or I need to search for the correct TR bolts
Thanks

Mine did not have the original head so the bolts were changed, wish I could help.

No Worries. I am hoping that with so many members, someone might be able to chip in.Dawgman wrote:Mine did not have the original head so the bolts were changed, wish I could help.
I have seen W with a circle O bolts on my CJ2A including the rivets on the bumper but never a head bolt.

Are you sure those aren't M bolts?
Truth…I have only heard that TR's were the bolt of choice for WILLYS.

Yes someone should know but the board seems very quiet.

David to be honest when I first saw them I thought of them as M bolts
But my CJ2A has w in a circle ( and I know you could say they could be M in a circle ) so I thou that perhaps it may be possible.
But in the absence of any responses I suppo I may have to search for the right TR marked bolts
