Hi,
I have a late Slat Grill (124991) and I want to know if these 8 bolts
must be TR20 ?
If the answer is YES, I would need 16 (both sides ) !!
Cheers,

Re: TR20 BOLS - QUESTION
I found a hood two-three years ago that had all the holdowns and they were bolted with ¼" TR20''s. I still have the latches and the bolts but I traded off the hood. The hood had the early air deflector and some remnants of the hood number but truth be told, I cannot for the life of me find the photos I took of it. I really don't have any proof. AAaarrrrggghhh…I am definitely going to put the TR20's back on the hood of my Slat project.
I have seen other hoods with ¼" EC's and many with just plain. It is a really good question and if anyone with a good original Slatty has the TR20's on their jeep, please post some photos. In the meantime, I am searching for mine.

Re: TR20 BOLTS - QUESTION
Hi Carlie and Dave,
This might help?
It has a combo of plain, EC and TR20 bolts- I guess due to the time period of production? Seen at MVPA convention, Topeka, 2010

Re: TR20 BOLTS - QUESTION
Hi Ian
NOT usally a board that I look on The photo that you posted, the fender to bonnet catch, is that correct? I thought that all where, like the hood to windscreen catch with the round base. Charlie's photo has the same on both.

Re: TR20 BOLTS - QUESTION
Ian's photo reminds me of my 131350 when I took it apart. Back then I didn't really look at bolts or think it important to document the types. The giveaway to that is that I have a box of bolts with EC's and TR20's that may or may not have come off that Jeep. I do know for sure that when I pulled the handles off, the bolts were mixed EC and TR20's. That is for sure as I put them all back the way I found them. Unfortunately, I don't recall how I put them back on the hood.
