I have a thread started on the technical forum asking for assistance in ID and restoration advice for a speedo. It seems to be a faint possibility that this is an early slat grill speedo. Appreciate any assitance. Trying to make the right decision in regards to it.

Re: Slat Grill Motormeter Speedo?
Yours appears to be a slat speedo. The setback of the face and the spaces between the numbers are the style of the slat speedo.
I have one similar that I would like to pass along but don't really know the worth. These carcass speedos can be redone or used for parts but how far one would go to restore one is up to them. Tough call.
