Ready to install canvas webbing strip on top of my 1941 MB slat "grill".
Question: Does the web strip run from one fender to the other as one piece? Common sense would suggest it would be one long piece running over the headlight bolts. Could not find any original photos. Help! Jim

No....there is an opening on each side where the headlamp bracket is bolted on as seen here:

Great photo, I would have never guessed. Now is the application for the "stamped grill" as illustrated in your photo the same for the real slat grill? I assume there is no difference between the two styles of grills. Again what would one do without this great forum. J.

Well that last photo certainly illustrated how it was installed, 2 short and one long "chunk" of webbing. May your camp fire be bright and warm this Year. Jim
