Correct horn for a slat grill

Hi,

does the schwarze horn is correct for a slat grill, instead of the sparton ?
If the schwarze is correct , is there any clue of it's use on the slat?

Where to found a document or a picture of a slat with the schwarze horn ?

The Schwarze horn appears in the SNL-G503 of '43 and '44.
