Hi Lars,
They sell these at our local flea market! They are very nice indeed!!!! I'll go see if they are there this weekend if it does not rain. The guy was asking $15.00 for them.

David,

they say on the site you can contact them, if you have a aspecial request...and if you tell them that the bubba jeep you have is the one missing in their selection ant that there would be sooooo many clients out there for that one....you may get one for USD 15,00 SOOON!

Bubba Jeep?? What do you mean?? :o It's NOT a rockcrawler or swapbuggy! It's a Military jeep, that's been Unjustly overlooked everywhere!! Even the M151 series get's more notice than mine.

David!

What is this big handle on it in the back? Is it to throw it away or something :?:

Jokes aside! I also find it amazing that the M38 and M38A1 does not get the attention as the G503, Mutt and Humvee...

Must have been quiet between Korea and Vietnam!!!

We do get many M38s here in Germany, though! And nice cold war manouver pictures of them...but, sorry to say that David, hardly any M38A1s and pictures....

Wonder why!?

But, that makes it unique, does it not? The "Peace" Jeep, kind of!!!!!!

Yep! It's a for a plane or Heliocotor to hook onto it and whisk it away to battle.

I think mine is overlooked because of the CJ-5 series came out and made it so "common" looking, there were ALOT of Cj-5's on the road from the 1960-1980's., so people don't give it a second thought or look. When in reality they are two different. :(

Hm... Since I was in SAC and we were called Peace-Keepers.. I could take your view of the jeep and say my jeep was a Peace-keeper as well! Thanks for the positive outlook! 8)

I love my jeep and haven't regretted purchasing it. I hope to get the restoration started in early 2005.
