Does anyone make the banjo style diffs for the 1/35 GMC? I would like to build one without the Timken Split axles.

Masters Productions from France makes a resin banjo drivetrain conversion set for the Tamiya 2 1/2 ton truck. It is the only one I have ever seen. With a little work I am sure you could make it work with the italeri. To order you have to go to the Blast Models web site from Europe. They carry Masters Productions products.I just checked and they show it availiable for $19.79 US,but remember the shipping coming from Europe. You could try R+J Enterprises at http://www.rjproducts.com in the US,they advertise that they can get Masters Productions products.Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link Lester. I want to a model of my 1.5 ton Chevy and the banjo axles are a must. The rest of the italeri GMC will work fine. I checked the RJ Enterprises and they have the axles. They also have a complete 1.5 ton kit but at 106.00 it is a little much for my fun budget . Heck I need to feed the real one first. :D

I just checked the Heller kit and the axles are the split type, and that is the same as the Italeri kit . When I do need the axles I think I will modify the kit ones to look like the banjo type.
Thanks for the help.
