idler arm
When I bought some parts from Lynch Hummer, I was told that they had a upgrade idler and center link. I was told that AMG changed the size of the idler and the stud of the idler and the hole in which it fits into on the center link.

Re: idler arm
George, that was when AMG introduced the Moog "Problem Solver" idler arm and thicker center link to the civvy trucks. I don't believe that the military has introduced these changes to the military trucks.dilvoy wrote:When I bought some parts from Lynch Hummer, I was told that they had a upgrade idler and center link. The only change I've seen is on the ECV trucks and this HD idler arm is used.
Greg, I would suggest you use the updated part its much tougher and is a direct bolt in.
If you notice that the split pin hole is a little too high above the castlated nut, its OK toput a hardened washer under the nut to space it up.
