You ask if anyone here has an item and it appears on ebay just a few days later. At some inflated price usually. You guys are the best.

He is talking about the tan soft items. Someone wanted them, and poof, they are $400 on ebay. I do think they were on ebay before the request, though. I said make offer on my stuff, because I didn't want to be too high.

Hi Shawn,

I can't say I've noticed it myself.
But if the items to highly priced on ePay surely it won't sell?
If it does sell at the high price, then it wasn't too high for someone.
Supply and demand sets the price...
Look at Deep Water Fording kit prices, I bought mine 4 years ago, it was incomplete and cost me $400. I was happy with that then.

Now they are stacked up in peoples barns and cant sell for $100.

So the moral is just wait and the part will come up at the right price.

Cheers

I noticed it a long time ago. It started when I needed a green label KDS PCB.

Christ giving sight to a blind man is a miracle. Surplus parts showing up for sale at whatever time someone may be looking for them is probably a concidence at best. But let's see if this works.
I'm looking for an NOS undamaged or much modified M1113 or M1114 HMMWV. Must be NOS and have a legal paper trail from the Government and if it's outside the U.S.A. It must be able to be imported. Vehicles used for testing by Government contractors will be considered as well, even if there has been some mutilation or destruction to the vehicle as part of the testing. Anything that was used for Nuclear, Biological or chemical testing or certain types of gunnery range testing will not be considered at all. This vehicle must be a 12,100 GVW M1113/14 or later model. Not a converted earlier model. I am a serious buyer and not a cheapo buyer. I will travel for the correct vehicle to check it out.

Any color will do, even repainted in a color that is non original to the vehicle. Heck, even the checkerboard pattern of a aircraft control tower will be OK as long as the vehicle is new or very near new.
