Here is a pic of the headlight setup we mentioned long ago while discussing armor.

Thanks Jason,

But whats of most interest is the extended radiators and oil coolers that live behinf that extended snout! :?

No one has got a good pic of that to my knowledge.

Maybe Chris C's CD will have some?? I hope so

I asked the woman who had this about the grill. She is rank E-7. I don't know what that is. I said I would exchange kool-aid and pop-tarts for some pics. Her and her husband are in Iraq.

I believe that E-7 is a Gunnery Sergeant in the Marine Corps and Sergeant First Class (SFC) in the Army.

Offer her some twinkies for some detail pics of the A/C ducting inside the cabin! :D

Yep, there are at least 2 pics of 1114's on my CD.
They were just arriving when I was there, so I did not get a chance to "play" with one.

Brad,
She never read my messages asking for pics of the stach and A/C system. If that M1113 belongs to STUDENT-DRIVER, he should be able to get a few pics of those areas>

The M1113's aren't originally equiped with A/C like the M1114's are. But they share the same four row radiator.

I´m sorry guy´s my and the other M1113 have no A/C from factory. Sure there are kits but these are more build in the up armored m998 A2 from ogara hess. Okay the guys in iraq brake all rueles you ´ll finde the A/C even in the m1026 A1 series.
The first un armored shelter carrier i know without A/C is the m1152.

And for all who are interested whats behind my extended front. There used to be a longer radiator. But i don´t have this, it´s hard to get...
I break it, I fix it!

I made the offer, and she declined. Who would turn down free goodies in a combat zone for a couple of emailed pics? I don't know what brach, but it is an E-7 rank. 3 up/1 down and 5 smaller stripes on the forearm of the dress uniform. What rank is this?

Sorry, the shirt looks green. Does the SFC have all those stripes?

Hi,

Three up and one down is a Staff Sgt. and is an E6. The stripes on the sleeve show how long stationed overseas. Each stripe equals 6 months if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the info. She said she was just promoted to E-7, so the pic might be a little old.

You can tell which branch of military any person is by there battle uniform. The Army has ACU which are a grayish digital camo. and the Marine Corps have the MARPAT which are also digital, but come in green and tan. Another way of telling which branch is if they wear a brown T-shirt under there uniform than it's army and a green T-shirt is USMC. The guys in the picture are in the army. :D
