Hey gang....
Lately my starter seems to be slow its first few revolutions when starting the engine cold... then it spins over at the normal speed... just wondering if anyones got a suggestion on whats the cause or a cure
Truck hasnt been off roaded in a while so its not dirty....

Hi Joel,
My guess is the starters on it's way out.
It takes the most torque to get things turning over after that the torque requirement drops down.
IMHO I'd drop the starter and have it rebuit before it lets you down.

I would bet on the starter needs an overhaul.
