Interior tunnel insulation on m1151

Post by ohiohmmwv » Fri Nov 24, 2017 8:14 am

Do the late style m1151’s still have the wood panels along the top of the interior tunnel or did they go to the rubbery foam insulation pieces(similar to the floor insulation pieces). If latest style is still the wood panels with the cutout by the gas tank access panel would anyone have any part numbers handy?

I have a wood panel with the fuel cover cutout. There is no number on it. I can post a pic if it is easily found in the garage.
It also has some anti-skid texture to it.

Would anyone be able to share the dimensions and specs on these wood insulation pieces for the m1151 so folks on this board could recreate them?

No dimensions, but here are a couple pics. The second shows the textured surface on the right and smooth on the left. The textured area is more of a big square. The area for the fuel access panel is in the bottom right of the first pic.. The 2-man versionjust cuts off where the bulkhead would be.

If I didn't have the 2-man bulkhead installed, I would have put it in for a pic.
