You’re right, I stopped where I did because I didn’t have a good reference for that hole size and I thought it’s weird that the opening is larger than the hole on the cover. Is there a reason for that? Is it to access anything on the condenser? Seems strange to create a large hole on the fender than have the screen cover over it.

It's bigger to access the hose to connect to the condenser once it is installed

Ah, makes sense.

Did someone offer up some exact measurements from an actual factory fender on a previous post? If so I’d greatly appreciate it.
