Warn winch info
I was given a Warn winch that was taken from an older Humvee years ago. It was removed because it did not work, but nothing on it was tested. M-31561, N-MRV-C-3, 24V, D-861. I have been unable to locate any info from using those numbers on the tag. Can anyone direct me to help get a repair manual with part numbers?

Call the warn tech line. They are very helpful. Chances are it's a solenoid.

The 6 and 9k's have a circuit card wired in between solenoids...it goes bad usally before a solenoid.
Per Warn tech years ago....they said bypass it like the civi winches.
Also...take cover off, and power winch in direction it won't work...then tap on solenoids with a hammer.

Re: Warn winch info
I had a few, I converted one to 12V by replacing the motor with a 12V model, having to cut the output shaft off slightly to fit the housing, but it was 100% after that using 1/2 of the 4 solinoids.
On a few (I pulled from a Caniliblization point) I noticed the center gear would rip out of the metal plate holding the other three gears, (Differential) I merly cleaned it, migwelded the center gear to the sheetmetal plate where it normally fit into a geared hole cut in the sheet metal and pulled about 13K German halftrack up a beavertail trailer with a snatch block without a pause using jumper cables and 24V MUTT for power supply.
