Packard Connectors

Post by Action » Sat Sep 23, 2017 12:56 pm

I know the general name, but is there a specific model for the round 3-wire connectors? I need the one at the connection between engine harness and body harness. I found 350 c pulled out, which is the speed sensor. I need the engine harness side with leads STAT. I put this here seeking info on model...

I cut open an old 2-wire connector. The end that crimps to the wire had a ridge around it (like the horizontal on a plus sign). It looks like the rubber is formed around the metal piece?

Are you talking about Sure Seal connectors?

Yes, that is it on page 8. I found the same thing on the web, but they are just the rubber plug. I guess the pin will push in and fall in its groove inside the rubber.

Thanks,
Jason

Yes that's how they work. You crimp or solder the pins onto the wire, then you push them into the rubber housing and they lock in.

The pins are farther down in the document and they are sold separately.
