softtop wind resistance

Post by Action » Mon Sep 11, 2017 4:52 pm

I don't know how fast the wind blew at it, but I had the rear of the 2-man softtop facing East near the eye of Irma. I came out today, and it looked the same as before the storm. I didn't see any water inside either. I wonder why so many folks complain about the softtop setups leaking. Mine went through a hurricane and didn't leak.... 8)

The water drained out the holes in the floor.

Lol. Papers inside still dry. I want to seal the holes sometime and fill it with water then drive to gas station and open holes. Just to see peoples reactions.

You might have about five gallons of water trapped within the top panel insulation and at the first stop sign, you will get a big surprise!
