What are you calling Real Armored doors? Like on the ones sold already?

Well then, It means that the price of X Doors is going to keep rising higher and higher. :o

Yep, they have alot of trucks with Supll. doors also....there staying attached.
The ones with the removed ones won't have windshields also, and a whole butch of big holes in the body.
And some have some corrosion where steel plates and the body connected.

The day may come when someone could trade a set of fair condition X Doors for a complete running soft top Humvee.

Those would make great half door projects if demilled by cutting top off and removing bottom plate.

Well, Someone is going to have to make some really nice molds and use heat and pressure in the making of them like the X doors, for them to be as good and hopefully better. I'd love to see it happen, because no matter what anyone does to a flat metal door, it won't be as functional as a Hummer metal door, unless a super amount of labor is put into them and then the price will be very high. Hopefully some solutions will come up and still look appropriate for the Humvee.

There doors in upper pic, and real X doors on truck in lower pic ?
Thats not a good reference on what they will look like if thats what they are trying to do.

Yeah, two completely different sets of doors. Close, but no cigar. Top ones look like blow molded ABS plastic.
