Re: M1165 Build
There are great reference photos Ted! I will use them for installing my M1152 A/C setup. It will almost feel like cheating though. LOL
I have a question on those mounting studs for the Plastic Brake Master Cylinder. What color are they?

Re: M1165 Build
Awesome build Ted...just fantastic, your attention to detail is amazing. Now for the questions...where does one find that rear armor panel...yours looks brand new...I am just planning my next HMMWV build and this thread is killing me! I can only imagine the rear panel, roof and doors would require a second mortgage if you can find them...any tips on where to hunt?
Thanks
John

Re: M1165 Build
Thanks. Have not turned wrenches on it in a long time. Backordered on parts is really bad. Supposed to get stuff in Aug, then Sept, then ,Oct and now Nov. Grrrr. That's why I've been playing on the M1152A1 now that summer is gone and I'm off the lake.
I collect parts where ever I can find them for many years. I can't wait to mate the frame and tub

Terrible backorder. I just got confirmation that my 3 parts that I require to set tub are shipped! Finally! Maybe by Christmas it'll be together. Fun times ahead.

Re: M1165 Build
I just got some stuff that was ordered back in july from two different sources so AMG is finally filling orders.
PS. Ted, after I saw your post, I got them to divert your THREE WAVY WASHERS to me so you have to wait a bit longer.

Re: M1165 Build
Well you are both wrong. Got the parts and proceeded with assembly. Set radiator stack. And assembled trucks are better than factory trucks! Just saying
