Here is the frame thus far. No time to stay working on it. REV hubs set but nothing is tightened down (like the radius arm clamps not being positioned correctly).

Front and rear electric winch brackets in stalled, tire lift done. Just some steering components and one more REV hub to mount (missing a part) and then off to the painters.

Hi I see you have the gfd cross members I was wondering how the main body of the dif is held as with the non gfd cross members there is two u bars between them then diff is hung of these.
Looked in parts manual but only show the brackets going up from diff?

The main body of the front differential is held in place with carrier brackets connected to the sides of the differential and forward to the front lower portion of the cross member. The input of the differential is held in place as other 12k's.

Rear uses a new carrier bracket and connects to the sides also.

Way different setups due to Wilwood brakes.

Still waiting on a part...so I did half shafts.

Hi do you know the part numbers of the frount dif carrier brackets that bolt to the sides of the dif also if you can post picture of them thanks.
I ask as I will probably going to fit the GDF to my m1113 ecv so looking to what parts I need.
Nice to see your pictures of cross members in place with no radiator in good as a reference.

Mark, I have a pair of front crossmembes needed for the GFD as well as the fan shroud for an ECV radiator if you need them. PM me as to not further hijack Ted's thread. All the parts numbers are in the REV TM.

The diff carriers come with the wilwood front brake kit. The rears do as well except for the big upper bracket. The REV TM is a must to have!

I modified the 4sp shifter to accept a reverse light switch. You need to add an extra neutral switch but in a different location. Easy to do without mucking up the unit. No I just have to run wires to the backup lights. I'm getting close to setting the tub aside and commencing the REV frame build. Pictures sooner or later.
Ted, when you installed the neutral switch did you use the shift fork from the neutral position for the reverse switch? I have not been able to locate the shift forks or the part number for that matter.

Back from many weeks of being places. The frame is scheduled for planting this week, just need to find time to get it in the booth.

Matt, I made the piece to hold the backup light switch. It's just an L shaped piece that triggers the switch. No pix.

I'll load pix soon before and after of frame. I have to assemble drive train next and set along with differentials, brakes, half shafts and gfd.

Thanks Ted. For now, I just "borrowed" the tab from the neutral position. I'll try and contact Orscheln this week and see if they can provide the part.

Matt, if they have a minimum order, I'd be up for three of the tabs.

Sent it to the paint booth. Should be done soon. Test fit the Wilwood brackets on diffs.

Enjoy.

Ted,

You might want to add loctite to the right-hand e-brake caliper like your LH has while you can get to it easily. That bolt is designed to adjust the caliper position in relation to the rotor and you don't want it moving once adjusted. Of course you have access holes so can probably get to it quite easily unlike me who hasn't decided to actually cut the holes in my Hummer yet.

Took me a bit to figure out the Orientation of each bracket even though they are labeled. Looks good!

Good eye Clarke. It was on my list after pre-fitment. It will be fun setting the rear diff with all that mass attached to it. Frame is prepped and will be sprayed in the am. Pick it up tomorrow evening!
