BAE taillight

Post by Kurt Lesser » Sun Jan 03, 2016 9:24 am

Has anyone on the list ever seen one of these taillights from BAE Systems? I'd like to find one of them.

Thanks

That is the Check 6 tail light. I have seen the tail lights go anywhere from a hundred to a couple of thousand. I have never seem a complete system with wiring harness and monitor for sale. Would like to know the wiring diagram, but from my understanding bae won't give any details.

From the looks of the controller, is the plate that covers the camera lens (labeled shield) motorized?

As many as they installed on MRAPs, I am surprised that the controllers have not started popping up on ebay as they are scrapped.

Wish I would have bought the one I saw for a hundred dollars, that was before I realized some were thermal and couldn't find a wiring diagram.

I noticed a few of these popping up for sale again. Has anyone ever found the control box or cables? Also is the blue ring the camera version or the thermal version?

There was two, one with the bent connector and one without any damage that was nicer. I got the nicer one. There does not seem to be any cables or control boxes out there for these.
