Hey Dilvoy,

Check out this photo:

You can clearly see the seatbelt reinforcing brace I've been telling you about on the base of the B pillar.

BTW I saw a set of these brackets in Austins store the other day.

Cheers

That's a very nice install of that reinforcement plate that reinforces the lower area of the B Pillar Brad, but it is not the area that I was talking about. I'll start another thread on the area that I was interested in seeing if there was any sort of upgrade.

Aren't those B-pillar brackets just the pads to hit your head on? And attach the seatbelt hoop to?

I don't see a picture in Alex's post, and the link does not work for me.

The bracket that Brad was talking about is the bracket that is riveted to the outside of the Rocker Panel, directly below the B Pillar. It is part of a Seat Belt Upgrade kit aparantly. There is also another Bracket that is riveted in place in front of the B Pillar. It is riveted on the inside of the Triangular shaped piece to which the Identification Plackard is attached. The Rivets in the Normally Rivet free area are a shure sign of it's presence. I was actually worried that the bracket that the seat belt buckle is attached at the rocker/B Pillar area was not strong as it might be able to be. Austin confirmed for me that his Hummer outer seat belt bracket is attached the same way, so I guess since AMG thought it was strong enough for Civilian Class 3 Truck useage, It's good enough for me.
