I spent 40 minutes with the guy at NAPA. He could find nothing on them. He tried the Trucklite and NSN numbers. He called the 800 number from the Trucklite site and got a recording for some other business. He tried the military sales manager and got his cell voicemail. I will try those numbers again next week.

I did get the prices on the rest of the Trucklite LED Humvee lights, though.

taillight w/o bucket.....164.00 ea
front turn...................194.00 ea
red maker w/ housing...29.99 ea
amber marker..............29.99 ea
blackout lamp..............154.00

The marker lights have the round lense.
I will check with my parts guy tomorrow morning and see if I can get them cheaper thru him.

Jason, I believe they are pretty new and that is why not listed yet. They have to get someone live on the phone.

Brad, Did you say 24 v hid? Are the kits available here in the US?

Thanks,

Hi Jojo,

I imagine they are available in the US, but I can't tell you where.
The kit I bought was found by Ozhumvee on the Aussie eBay.

It is a kit with Hi/Lo beam H4 globes to fit in the Hella Headlights.
You plug a relay module into the humvee headlight wiring and run a 24V supply line to a 24V sourve (the winch in my case).
The globe has a little shield that rotates away on hi beam to reveal the full globe to the lamp reflector.

The kit comes in your choice of 4000k, 6000k and 8000k globes

Quite a neat kit and the truck still looks standard.

Cheers

I made a calculation

With the LED headlamps you can drive 5 500 000 miles (@ 55mph)

Or you can drive exactly 225 times around the World :D

So every way you'll be dead before your new headlamps would be ;-)

07370 24v LED HEAD LAMPS

Post by jbaudeloque » Fri Apr 25, 2008 3:34 am

Our 07370 (NSN 6220-01-547-9043) 24v LED HEAD LAMPS are released. The NAPA system may not have had them set up at the time of your search. If you need a distributor contact Truck Lite Customer Service at 800 562 5012 and ask for a local distributor or contact me. They have been well recieved in theater and will improve with time and technology.

There is also a complete HMWWV LED lighting kit available to convert all lighting to LED's.

Welcome to the G Jacques.
Nice to see a supplier on here! :D

I have truck lite product all 'round on ny truck (except for the headlamps)
They certainly give the truck some authentic modernisation.

Do you have any comparitive images of the LED lights night performance vs others?(eg, sealed beam, H4, HID)

Also, are they approved for export to us "allies"?

Cheers

If you spend that kind of money on a set of headlights I would think a few bucks more for a set of headlight gaurds would be a good investment.
I made a calculation

With the LED headlamps you can drive 5 500 000 miles (@ 55mph)

Or you can drive exactly 225 times around the World

So every way you'll be dead before your new headlamps would be
My luck I'd only get halfway around the block and a rock would bounce up and strike my headlight.

In the pic of the Humvee above, the headlights probably aren't even on. They just look that bright shut off! lol.
