That is one sweet lookin truck. You have done a fantastic job over the past year. Lots of time and money we put into our humvees. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of $ do you have tied up in your rig? I'm guessing you have more than doubled your original investment. I know I'm getting close to doubleing mine and my truck doesn't look nearly that good.
great job!
great job!

In an earlier thread I asked the forum members their opinion regarding a soft top conversion for my recently acquired slant back. The suggestion seemed to be to consider some rig along the lines of a guy known as 'the hummer guy'...............well, now I can see why, and what a truck !
now I want one like that ! thanks for showing, regards Mark M

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys.....Really
I am almost inclined to remove the sponsons on my Slanback and do the same to it.....While the slanty has it positives I just love the versatilty of the Hard/soft of this type of setup. I might have second thought though after a few months of Winter rains in Norcal Though.....Hmmmmmm

Notice I said NOT in the post. There is a fella close by here that has amassed a crazy collection of old hospital equipment and I'm gonna go pay him a visit and see if one of those monster surgicl/exam lights has a similar boom on it. I know I've seen something close to that. I have to do some of this on the cheap. That just rocks, he's don a great job on his gun truck.unclesamsurplus wrote:wrong again. they are not cheap or easy to come by.
