Rectangular spacer/shim

Post by USAFpj » Sat Mar 03, 2018 6:58 pm

Guys- I'm placing a freshly painted Dodge motor onto a WC52 frame; when grabbing my 'baggies o' goodies' to bolt it down, I have (1) thin metal shim spacer that measures roughly 2in x 3in that was inside of the bag that is used for the rear motor mounts (clutch housing). Are these necessary, and if so, where are they placed?

I believe they slide in between the rear frame mount and the clutch housing ears :?:
