Command Car Data Plate Nomenclature

Post by Walter » Thu Aug 03, 2017 1:10 pm

Good Afternoon Everyone:

I am looking for some basic information on Command Car nomenclature that is stamped on the S/N plate:
Is it -- Truck 3/4 ton 4x4 Command -- or is it Car? If not then what?

Also I found the empty weight in TM 9-808, but does anyone know what the official GVWR is? I also need the 'Rated' load that also gets stamped on that same plate. I have a non-winch version that is almost finished.

Many thanks.

Regards,

Walter
