The transmission in my WC-54 is pretty worn out. I am not the only one who drives the truck, and some of the family has not fully grasped the art of double clutching... My question is, is it possible to take the transmission out of a Dodge M-37 and use that? I will keep my old transmission and probably have it rebuilt for a spare. I would really like to keep the truck as original as possible. Will the transmission just drop right in? Or is this a lot harder of a swap then I had thought?
Thanks for your time.
Mitch

Re: Dodge WC54 transmission swap.
They won't interchange, different bell housing bolt pattern and they don't have provision for the parking brake.
