Looks like we are in the same stage! Do you have a threa going on your WC?

My friend has an industrial power washer with steam. Works great and has been a big help>

Sadly, no  . In my current job, I spend a week at home, then gone for possibly months. Or home for months, then possibly gone for a week.

Weak excuse, I know- I may get one going, as other guys are in the same boat, I'm sure.

using your PJ skills abroad?
Well, unfortunately, I don't have any other skills.

Seriously, though- I do have the time off now, the parts are here, and I have never placed a project on the Gee. I reckon I better get started. My Uncle who lives nearby, has a 3K psi/ 2.8gpm pressure washer that has a broken outlet disconnect, so I'm attempting to get that working first. Once I get it going, I'll pull the WC out of the shop and get a thread going.

Installed the brake parts on one side today. Will get the other soon. I just have to tighten everything up and touch up paint.

Looking like a clean job, Oz :) . After hitting the local flea market yesterday, the goal for Wednesday was to pull the WC52 out of the shop under its own power.

Well, while my 13 year old apprentice was filming, I ensured that there were no obstructions in the path, moved all of the parts and tools that somehow accumulate, and did a final pre-firing inspection. I put my CJ rim down on the cab and took a seat behind the wheel.

After firing it up with relative ease, I soon found out the clutch was inop (always something, huh  ). I already knew the brakes weren't working, but that the E-brake did. Mind you I had just placed on a new bellcrank from MWM, and serviced the front hubs, draglink, and steering box.

The RPM's were low enough that I just threw the shifter into reverse, and she slowly started easing back. The main door to my shop is 10ft wide, and 12ft high, so I'm ok on room, just gotta take it slow. Just need to adjust and compensate to the right a bit to clear the door, slowly, wait... I HAVE NO STEERING

Oz, as a reminder, please center your steering wheel before you do any work on your steering components- especially the bellcrank. It'll help you to not freak out and grab the E-brake when you're mere inches away from slamming a 5,500lb machine into one of the 6x6's that holds up your new shop, all the while being filmed by the apprentice

You know strange things ALWAYS happen when there is a camera around. Hence our insistence on no phones or cameras out in the field during operations or maneuvers! I hope your son is not posting that vid on facebook or sending it to America's Funniest Home Videos! :o

Oz, in my case today?? Pressure Washer tips  . Hit 5 locations today, and the only tips anyone had were for a 4,000+ psi washer. May have to special order one to handle my puny 3,000psi washer :? .

I did, however, fix the steering issue that hit me yesterday, and me and the boy drove it around the property for about 10 minutes. The only obvious leak so far is coming from the oil filter outlet. Once I confirm no major issues, it'll be time to tear it back down and do it up right  .

I have been focusing on the 42WLA and have it running well now. It has limited my time to work on the Dodge. I know...very negligent of me :(

With the help of a friend and his tools, we pulled the 25 year old rubber off of a few rims. We removed 5 of them, but one had such corrosion and pitting on the split ring and rim that we elected not to use it. Now I am ready to blast all of the components for the rear axle and move on to something else.

Been wondering where ya been oz!!

Good your back on the dodge. Gives me something to read. The posts here have Been pretty slim
The last few weeks. I guess everyone (except for zeph that is) is coming to a halt on projects. Or so it seems. Maybe because it's dead winter in most places and too cold to work in the garages!!
