Chinese copy of the WWII German BMW R-71

Post by TheWarFront » Mon Sep 14, 2015 11:45 am

This bike needs a to have some minor mechanical work done in order to bring back to fully functional status...such as...Timing set up, rebuild the carb and a new battery. The older generation (more correct) bikes such as these are getting harder to find! The rear seat (with new rubber) and many spare parts for the bike are in the trunk of the side car. Price: $3950 No trade. Email us at TheWarFront1944@gmail.com for more information and photos.

When I was working in Shanghai on the film "Empire of the Sun" I saw quite a few of these. I believe the manufacturer was Dong Hai, now probably re-named
See:-http://www.cj750.net/sitepics/ww2/ww2ht ... 0index.htm
The russian ones were known as URAL :https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMZ-Ural
