I don't think it's a pitty party.
Personally, I've had good dealings with Pat. So I said so. Hearing from several sources is a good thing. The reader can then determine if he/she wants to strike a deal with the person who allegedly has trouble holding up his end of the deal. To only hear of the negative transactions, when there are also positive transactions, does a disservice to everyone. This way, a buyer can decide for himself if he's willing to take a chance.
No harm in that.

What that’s about is the precursor to his scrap run announcement.

Mate This site has it's share of email warriors  but please try and don't let them get to you. Like any bully they shut up in the end if they do'nt think they are getting to you. IF you enjoy what you've been doing . Please carry on with your hobby. Loads of 503 guys will back you. It's such a shame that quite a number of really knowledgeable guys do'nt post here much now. Due to them feeling the same way you are. Try if you can to rise above them. Don't be bullied.

this thread has gone off the rails....

Let me say what everyone (if anyone is reading) is probably thinking....

Farrell and Niblet need to take the squabbling to PM...and probably just skip doing business with each other..

Pat (the OP) needs to just go to the e-ffing scrap yard. There's no need to advertise it here. Except that he wanted to read all the BS people telling him NOT to go like it's some crime against humanity to scrap your own stuff.

Oh, by the way....I've been around this place a long time.... I've seen a few of these BS "i'm taking my shinola to the scrap yard because "joe-bob pissed me off". They all have 2 things in common. 1. They are all dumb as a box of rocks and unnecessary and 2. the OP NEVER lets the reading forum know that they follow through.

So....Pat....PICS OR IT DIDN"T HAPPEN and quit wasting bandwidth on this stupidity. Go get your $0.04 per pound, go buy a cup of coffee with it and keep it to yourself.

Well said, Luke.....but we do have a habit of reminding others here of deals gone bad....and that ain't a bad thing to do. I know that when a certain SOBs name comes up, I do my very best to mention poor business practices, lying and out-right thievery to those asking about that guy.

But....that isn't an opinion....that's a FACT!

If you happen to be close to 58chevybisquene, start asking around at the scrap yards and get some cheap parts. I suspect they'll let it all go out at around 8-10 cents per pound!

Why don't we ask the admins to have Seller/buyer feedback options on the gee instead of turning every other thread into this?
