I have a military rebuilt WW2 Willys Slat Grill T84 transmission for sale. The transfer case shift rods were placed on it by me to make sure that the transfer case shifts properly. Just clean up outside and install. Very difficult to find. Numbers stamped into little area next to top cover are G2942B. This transmission came from an old auto parts / surplus store where it was stored in the basement in the original crate which fell apart around it. Inside is perfect with no rust on gears etc.
Located in Atlanta, GA SOLD
Can crate to ship both domestic and international.

Re: WTS: Army Rebuilt Early Slat Grill Transmission and Transfer - $2000 OBO
This unit was made on "july 29th 1942"
so i believe that makes it an MB not slat grill....

I agree on the T-84....it’s post Slat Grill MB but still early Standard MB. The serial number on the transfer case tag seems very high for an “early” unit. Can you please post the casting date and the casting numbers? Do you know if this is an “open face” or “closed face” unit? You would have to remove the front bearing cap to find this out. Thanks in advance.....looking forward to your reply.
