Trade command car for restored gpw or mb

Post by Od4me » Tue Nov 21, 2017 3:58 pm

Looking to sell or trade 1942 comman car Serial number(frame) 81574923. Body is in good shape with very little rust. The motor runs well and all components seem to be in good operable condition. It comes with some spare parts including a wc56 windshield, transfer case, winch cable, spare wheel-rim, and a passenger fender. This vehicle was part of a package deal and was a true barn find out of n.c. I believe it was restored/refurbished in the 90's. I brought the vehicle home washed it and replaced the battery. It's sat in my garage ever since. It currently runs, drives, and stops. Will need tires, universals, and a light going threw prior to being considered road worthy as it has sat for 20 plus years.

If you have any questions/ need pictures/videos please contact me.

23,500 bill of sale only These are worth 40-60k restored. Will trade for a full ground up resto of a Ford gpw-willys Mb or add cash for a Ford gp. Bill of sale only
Located in South Carolina

I would trade you for my jeep, but my garage won’t fit a command car.

Friends 1944 MB was restored in 1995, only ran a few times a year, he's had a substantial family size increase over the years, so she sits in my garage (always garaged since a ground up restoration) when we do get her out, it's usually a battery and some older fuel issues to fiddle with, then she's fine. Bottom Line a great restored jeep that needs to be driven. Looks fine, some scratches and wear from shows but I cannot recall going into the woods or mud during any events.
MB sits in Carrollton, Virginia (across from Newport News) and I told him about your idea of a trade. He already has a 42 Command car, but it needs restoration. Mine is excellent, so I know CC's. This isn't the place to nitpick about what's right or wrong, if your interested in a trade 1:1, he is amicable, I will pull his jeep out and start it this weekend and have photos if you are serious.
Let me know.
