I'm sorry that you have to sell this GPW....looks like you've put a decent amount of work into her to freshen her up a little.
What's the serial number and DoD?

Re: For SALE: 1943 Ford GPW/matching Body & IDplate Serials
there's one under the seat, I still want to flush it so I sent a bypass line underneath along the frame to dip into jerry cans on the back, technically you'd have the option to keep both or just pull the extra line, once you've cleaned the tank under the seat. I just rebuilt the carb, new fuel line, new pump/filter, didn't want old gunk bleep it up.

That is a lot of money for a project jeep. Oh, those BTW are not the "right" rims.

Re: For SALE: 1943 Ford GPW/matching Body & IDplate Serials
It was worth tops 2-3k when you found it and about the same now.
No offense to your work, but you didn't save anyone any time or money on a true restoration of the machine.
All that paint will be blasted back off, all those fluids will be drained so all the mechanicals can be drained, opened and checked.
Any body work you did will likely have to be re-done after it's all blasted off. Any body work you didn't do (like fixing the front frame horns and replacing the fuel tank sump well under the driver's seat will have to be tackled. Thanks will be noted for the tires, but she needs 2-piece combat wheels to truly be correct & even repros of those are around $250 each (x5). There are parts seen that are incorrect and PLENTY of parts missing. Again, a true restoration will go back to 6v....but there are plenty of 12v jeeps, so maybe that part of your work is favorable.

Hi Allen - may not be much comfort but your jeep would make 9K over here(in UK) no problem - and that would be GB pounds not Dollars.
