SOLD GPW Museum display “Parts that Make a WWII Jeep Go"
Pictures: scroll down to see the pictures posted from Surface Zero.
I put this exhibit together several years ago because I wanted people to see the parts under the sheet metal. It is currently on display in a museum here in eastern Idaho. I sandblasted most of the parts, primed and painted it. I numbered many of the parts and had a sign made describing the part. I've had a good time telling folks about it at the museum.
The sign also explains that Ford marked many of the parts with their "F" mark. I highlighted about 15 of them on the frame with orange paint.
I want to keep the sign as a memento, so if you intend to use this as a display you'll need to make up a new one.
Frame # is GPW 105048. Engine is not GPW. I believe it is CJ2A or CJ3A. It does not turn. Trans and transfer are GPW, will need to be rebuilt. Not sure about condition of brakes or radiator.
The frame is in great shape and does not appear to have been modified. The front bumper is a repro from Ron Fitzpatrick.
I prefer to deal face to face and so am hoping that someone nearby is interested. I can deliver to Jackson Hole, Ogden, Boise or Bozeman. Sorry, no overseas sales.
The museum is currently only open on Saturdays, so if you want to come see it you'll have to schedule your visit on that day.
No title, bill of sale only.
ANOTHER PRICE DROP!
I've decided to keep the engine. The engine is not included in the sale.
Chassis, including GPW trans and transfer case, was $2500, then $2000, now $1750!
As I said in my original post, this is in Eastern Idaho. I can deliver to Jackson Hole, Ogden, Boise, or Bozeman. Outside that area you'll have to arrange for and pay for shipping.

Well, I just checked the ad and I found that I can see the pictures on my PC but not on my Apple devices. Hmmm! Not sure what's going on but I'll try to figure it out.
I did find that if you click on that "update" image you can see the pics of the frame, along with a whole lot of other pics of mine you're probably not interested in!
Dang technology anyway!

Sorry guys, been a while since I did this, didn't know photobucket had changed. I have a surface zero account. I'll get the pictures up there shortly.

Ha! Well, no. I just figured that if 3 didn't get a person interested, 1 more wouldn't help.marco.verhaag wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2017 11:20 am

I opened a photobucket on here once and the pictures were of the jeep. When you scrolled over, there were family pictures and naked pics of some girl in a hotel room. I was like.....OH crap! .. Wish I remembered the post and the "PLAYER" that posted them...

PRICE DROP!
I've decided to keep the engine. The engine is not included in the sale.
The price of the chassis, including the GPW trans and transfer case, was $2500, now $2000.

ANOTHER PRICE DROP!
I have too many projects, this is selling all the way. I'd sure like to see it go to someone who's going to get it back on the road.
Was $2500, then $2000, now $1750!
Price includes GPW trans and transfer. Engine not included. See original post for description.
