For sale, $4500 (OBO) a late slat grill MB, s/n MB122993, d.o.d. 3-2-42. It has typical "Bubba" mods, tailgate, new stamped tail gate will be included, push front bumper, but it runs and "yard drives", haven t had it running for a while now, but wont be a problem starting it up.
The engine is a later CJ engine but someone has stamped the s/n off the original engine onto the block, s/n MB 124XXX.
The tranny is T-84 but is marked "GPW". It runs well and holds 45 lbs oil pressure when hot. It has a nice windshield frame, good 600X16 NDTs all around. The body is mostly "Bubba" sheet metal and pop rivets.

I noticed the Data tag is stamped BRT. Is this a British contract jeep? I have MB 127260 that is also stamped BRT.
