Late '42 GPW quite original SOLD

My friend Brandon has a late GPW 12/20/42 if I remember correctly. He's asking $4,000. It is located east of Stockton CA about 25 miles. It only comes with a bill of sale I believe.

I have some pictures and will get more when I go back over to his house.

Great potential. Wish I were still on the West Coast. Do you know if the serial number on the engine matches the number on the dashboard data plate and the chassis by the steering box?

It was hard to read the serial # on the dash in the time I had. It had 888 in it but I couldn't read the rest.
I don't think it matches the engine but the engine serial starts with GPW. The head has Jeep cast into it.
The floors have rust through at the hat channels, fuel tank, tank well.
Tool box bottoms looked ok.
Rear panel needs rust work.
Front frame horns need work.
Speedo and some of the gauges aren't correct.
Windshield glass looks like the original and looks perfect.
Seat frames are wrong.
