That is just doing decent to the buyer. If you want to know the price buy it ;-) if you are not the buyer it is acting discreet to hide the spoken details for you. In fact it is even none of your business.
not really. And your'e doing nothing for FUTURE buyers. When I search old listings for potential market value, I assume that it's only a starting point. If a buyer and seller negotiate something offline, it has not bearing on the original asking price. Plus, as the ASKING PRIVE is public knowledge, how is it a "decent" to the buyer? They likely were not the only people to see the add. That's a horse phooey statement to justify your action of removing the sale price when something sells. It's being selfish to the future market, if anything.
thing to know in this is that this is only interesting for them that stash the parts for future sales and want to know what their savings are worth, nothing less and sure nothing more.

There is a simple way to stop the wo2jeepers' of the world who erase the price. If you copy their post before they exit theirs and include it in your post I believery they can't erase YOUR post.

I can't read it, it's cut off half way. I for one, would be very interested in what it says.

Wow, nice. At least it's good to know where people stand. Kind of insulting to the active duty members as well as us vets though.

Time for me to chime in here. Been reading 'personal insult' posts on here far too long. Ron is great guy who offers up this site for the enjoyment of the jeep collecting hobby (as well as other vehicles too). I like to read of experiences and knowledge of other fellow jeep collectors, both novice and 'expert'. Some I learn from, others I disagree with, but It's all enjoyable to me UNTIL certain members start 'bashing' other members.

If you have an issue with someone else on here, please take it to the PM section or the moderator...the rest of us 'regular' guys are getting turned off by it. I'm not going to name anyone, but we see the regular 'experts' attack each other when someone asks a question or just wants more info. ...almost as if this site is their personal 'territory' because of their extensive knowledge or years of experience in the field. There are many ways to fix these old warhorses, so why do these guys keep chastizing each other?

I'm sorry to break into this post like this, but the crack about 'America and democracy' was the last straw! If we're so bad over here buddy, how come you're collecting a product built by the hard working men and women of that democracy...hmmmmm? Maybe you should take up collecting the Soviet GAZ, or Japanese Kurogane, better yet....Kubelwagons. Those all came from dictitorial regimes that maybe you prefer. I'm sure China and N. Korea have some 'modern' 1/4 tons that might interest you too.

My 'two cents'...sorry.

Craig

Craig, I'm 100% with you. It's one thing to take small jabs at forum members but when someone who has directly benefited from the spilled blood and sacrifices of my fellow countrymen proceeds to insult the country that has given him everything he has....well, all bets are off!

Sorry to see again this site is getting overwelmed by negative feelings and burning members down. There was not any intention to burn anybody from my side. Moderated the post already because this is getting misimprentated. And for the liberation, we thank not only the American Veteran but also the Canadian forces which actually liberated our country after 5 years of suffering under depression.

Then why did you post that to begin with?
