Build a GPA body kit to convert a MB/GPW into a "replica" GPA.
Well one can dream....

Thanks for your service, your keeping many jeeps alive and running into the 21st Century that would have been lost.

Metal stamped Front roof Header on the top of the 3/4Ton Convertible Dodge (I suspect this is identical to the 1/2T version)

How about offering an MB kit with all the necessary holes drilled into the body and frame? You could leave "optional" item holes out. I have just spent the summer with one of your MB kits, drilling and aligning.....quite a chore, but it looks great.
Thanks,
Duane

Double check your existing part for correct measurements before bringing new products would by my suggestion. So far none of the parts I bought were an exact fit to the original parts I had :(

It's great to have you for the hobby though, there's just one or two thing that was wrong with the parts I bought, would be nice to see them corrected :)

For reference so far, these are the issues I had (that I remember)
Front bumper holes were incorrectly spaced
Rear bumper was too short by 9/16"
All 4 of the new spring hangers had the threads cut too sharp
Holes missing from the frame rails kits

Hi Mavie,

Great to hear MD Juan is back on to getting feedback to improve the products. Well done! To save reinventing the wheel, this thread might help. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=218819&start=105

Rommel asked us a while ago in a few threads. To your credit, there were improvements but many things seem unchanged from what I've seen and been told by others.

One thing the GPW owners really need are the bumper gussets made to the correct GPW style, shape and size. Not a generic plate that only slightly (but not really well) resembles a MB item and stamped with a F.

Cheers,
Ian.

100% correct Boyso, Trailer tubs and spring hangers are 2 things for a start.

My suggestion would be to invest in a Tape meassure and digital calipers before investing in new tooling as for me having the traler tub fixed by my metal guy was not a cheap exercise.

I used to buy your parts ,but stopped because i spent more money returning stuff that was wrong, the only thing i think you sell that are worth having are combat rims,
your body tubs fit like s..t-hole seats, they don't even fit right on your own chassis you make, one of the lads on here said you need to "invest in a tape measure", he is absolutely cock on...

If Dean at JOES MOTOR POOL (UK) carry's on the way he is heading making GPW and MB parts you will be out of business, his items fit absolutely perfect, never have to worry about anything from him at all...

not being disrespectful ...just honest

Oil Filters canister and lid - they seem to be drying up.
They seem quite an easy thing to recreate.
