The Jeep started as a 1945/6 CJ. The former owner installed a reproduction body. After I bought it a couple of years ago from this website, I had it painted and stenciled. It has locking hubs on the front. I then took it to Endangered Species Jeep in Mass where we installed disc brakes on the front wheels. The transmission was slipping out of second gear, so we rebuilt the transmission and replaced the clutch. Two of the springs were re-tensioned and two others were replaced. The shocks were replaced. The drive shaft was replaced. The steering box and column was replaced. I installed all new Beachwood Canvas seats, top and door webbing. I have a set of the proper MB tail lights, but haven't gotten around to installing them. The proper non-directional tires came from Coker Tire. I also have a set of large, off road tires on magnesium rims that come with the jeep if you want to take it out to Moab. Recently, I replaced the fuel pump, the coil, points and condenser and had it tuned up. It has received regular oil and filter changes. It's a great fun vehicle, and it draws a lot of attention everywhere I take it. I can email pictures. Price $7900 firm.
