Thanks Jason. That P & C is almost as nice as your Plvmb!

For the other guys I'll elaborate on why I put it in the '42 set. The prewar set did not include an ignition set and the '45 called for an 11 piece set so it wouldn't go there either. That leaves us with putting it either in the '42 set to the '44 set. They both called for a 7 piece set. The 41-W-900 ignition wrenches are made from pressed steel and they are very fragile. You can break them with your hands. Try that with a Duro ignition wrench. Because they are so fragile and practically useless I believe they were quickly replaced with more durable ignition wrenches such as Duro at a later time and thats why I put the 41-W-900 wrenches in my '42 set and Duro in my '44 set. Anyway that was my thought process on why. I would be glad to hear other opinions.

Phil, this thread is a tremendous resource, thanks for posting it! I've learned to just keep it open on my phone, as a ready resource.

Phil's displays are always awesome.......so meticulous--every tool is evenly spaced as if he had a ruler to space them.....When I think of his various displays of complete (year by year) tool boxes and sets displayed on the ground, my back hurts from the super heavy weight of the tools shown.... :)....Phil must have a chiropractor on standby... :)

Thanks guys! Sorry, I just saw this. I’ve been in Florida for the last week hitting flea markets. Some great finds that I’ll share when I get back!

That display was more challenging than you might guess and those photos are from day #2. I had it 80% set up when it started raining so I had to quickly take it down. The second day went smoother. If I remember correctly I was a little sore!!
