Hi all,

Any info on these Utica 550-8 pliers ? tried on the G503 Facebook page, but no luck.

On the Utica website it states they were made from 1945.

Has anyone got any more info? military use??

No definitive military use to my knowledge, but this link says that the manufacturing date is implied to be 1945: http://alloy-artifacts.org/utica-tool-p2.html

Good luck,
Steve

Thanks Steve,

Yes, I found that info too, but why suddenly in 1945? feel there must have been some aplication in WW2 aswell, but then you never know!

This particular pair of pliers cam from Normandy, hence the question.
