being that I live near Kenosha Wi home of Snap on tools I too started collecting E and G coded tools for my GMTK. I am starting to collect for the large set that you have listed as the 488 set. Do you happen to have a close up of the ad for seeing the tool numbers? I have been going off you list to also collect tools. Thanks for your help. Matt
Gordon, I'm beginning to think unobtanium might be right. The screwdrivers especially. Both the TX series and the Par-V I have not seen much of and they go quickly and expensively when they do show up. By nature of their intended use I expect the punches and chisels will be hard finds as well. But, I keep my eyes open - you never know where things will turn up!Gordon_M wrote:Nicely done, that is 75% in nine months. Completion next year, or is it going to be like Plomb WF stuff where certain bits are made from unobtainium?

Where's the list of the other 25% then, in case any of my odds will fill a gap? Will be a while before I can check though
Thanks, Don, and the same to you and your family. I hope Barcalo Claus made TWO stops at your house!d42jeep wrote:Bill,
It's coming along really well and I'm sure the new year will bring you some of those hard to find items. Merry Christmas to you and your family and have a great new year.
