Re: GMTK Contest
I figured you were at least half-kidding, Don. (I guess I should pick better prizes next time!)

Re: GMTK Contest
Reviving this thread to post some photos of a recent acquisition.
Steve Greenberg advertised this as a "canvas tool roll", but it's neither canvas or a tool roll. These layouts are made of some kind of waterproofed fabric material, they were kept folded up inside GMTK boxes, and they were used as training aids and inventory/inspection sheets, literally for laying tools out on the actual-size outlines.
The one at the top of this thread is dated 1980.
While this OD colored sample is not dated, I have done a one-for-one comparison between the two layouts, including number, nomenclature/types, and sizes of tools, and this OD layout shows exactly the same GMTK, from the same era (late 70's early 80's). There are eighty-eight (88) tools in each kit. This OD colored layout shows a pouch on the lower right corner called "ROLL, TOOLS AND ACCESSORIES" that is not on the white layout. But in the NOTES section in the upper right of that layout, note #4 reads, "ROLL, WRENCH SET." My bet is it's the ignition set in both kits.
Here are some close-ups:

For your own comparison purposes, and because I never posted close-ups of the dated tool layout, here those are..

Re: GMTK Contest
I know this is an older thread, but on the off chance, does anyone have the manual or ORD listing for this iteration of the GMTK took kit? A casual Google search didn't yield anything for me....
