I'ts hard to believe any upgrades were needed but it sure is a great looking set. That NB breaker bar is dead on with the RA PD photo. Nice find! Happy Father's Day Don.

Re: My Jeep & GMTK sets - They'll never really be finished!
With the compelling argument made by Oz that the 41-K-546 Red Devil putty knives would be marked Irvington, NJ to be period correct, I replaced the Union, NJ marked Red Devil P1-1¼S in my GMTK with the Red Devil P1-1¼F pictured below. Fortunately the Red Devil P1-1¼S in my MVMTS was already Irvington marked, much to my relief.

Re: My Jeep & GMTK sets - They'll never really be finished!
Here are a few recent additions to my GMTK. Dave (sincitygpw) alerted me to an ORD marked padlock on the auction site that just needed a bit of repair. I found a pair of Crescent 8" lineman's pliers at an estate sale. With the addition of a G marked Snap-on A17 drag link bit I now have a matching 1945 Snap-on set. Here are some pictures.

Re: My Jeep & GMTK sets - They'll never really be finished!
It’s been almost three years since I’ve updated this thread. Since I have some unexpected time on my hands, I took pictures of the tools that are currently in each set. Although the sets are still mostly the same, I’ve made some changes over the years. I’ll start with the GMTK’s upper tray and then move down into the box. I couldn’t decide whether to go with the leatherette or canvas ignition wrench set, so they are both there.

Re: My Jeep & GMTK sets - They'll never really be finished!
Wonderful sets and beautifully presented and annotated Don! Really cheered me up to study these during these lock-down times.
I particularly liked the hex wrenches - always the Cinderella and a bit like gathering the punches & chisels. I see you added a 3/8in bar for your MVMTS 1/2" extensions. The dated Walworth pipe wrenches are a nice set, but I missed not seeing a Ridgid 14in! That 8in Mayhew offset screwdriver should be in a vault together with the Ka-Bar US Army knife and the GMTK stencilled toolbox!
Restored my enthusiasm for the hobby ...
