I need a 4712L (3/8"), 4713L (13/32") and 4715L (15/32"). I already have a 4710L (5/16")

I'll come a lookout for those. For some reason Plomb pieces seem to find me.

Just ran across one on eBay. Not sure of the Brand since it's not listed.
LINK to auction.
Pretty neat.

Dave,

I am giving you first crack at the Bonnet T9 3/8-inch drive speeder in this sale: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=280502

If you already have one, let me know. This one is caked with cosmoline and would need to be cleaned off. :D

Just to bring Dave's post back up to the top although we should probably also start a whole new thread.
We can now clarify some of the Toolboxes that Dave was looking for.
Earlier this week Spookyfr posted a link to the TM2-ww2 manual website. http://www.tm-ww2.com/product_info.php? ... cts_id=853
Ord 5 SNL J-15 Benches, Tools Boxes, Cabinets, Bins, Tool Chests, Tool Rolls, of General Application.

On the page you are sent to it shows an illustration of the boxes which reminded me of this thread. I paid my 8 euro which is a reasonable price.
This illustration comes from the advertisement on the TM-ww2 website so hopefully not infringing any of his rules.
Tool Boxes.jpg
The 41-B-1840 is listed as being in the illustration but is not shown.
41-B-1840 seems to be Type II box with Type I Tray.
Nomenclature Box, Tool, Loose Tray S.,7 5/16 x 8 1/2 x 21" ( None of the type I or Type II)
The Type II box is the only one shown with the corner reinforcements.
Interestingly all the boxes have the same drawing number D84730 regardless of size and brackets and the Trays are all listed as D84731.

No Manufacturer is given for any of the boxes.

As confounding as it is interesting, Roger! Thanks for posting. How many pages is the J-15? How much more comprehensive is it compared to the excerpts posted on the TM2-ww2 website? 5x? 10x? Does it include the USAAF/USN hip roof cantilevered boxes? I may have to spring for it.

Greg, it is 45 pages with some interesting items in it, but if interests are only in the GMTK and basic upper echelon kits then it is of not much use. No Navy or USAF Boxes are shown but it does have Type V parts boxes and many other drawer-ed units of varying sizes. Great if you are fitting out a truck.
It does not seem to contain a picture of our favourite 41-c-15.

So typical. If there's one truism in this hobby, it's this: the only thing that is consistent is inconsistency.
