Originally it was also in color.
I use two-component epoxy paint. It's tried. it will not do anything.

You have been doing the very nice work of a true craftsman !!
Excellent progress, and that brazing / weld repair to the manifold looks very interesting !
Many people have similar issue with ours.
I am happy to see you have completed such a nice repair.
